Enrolment procedure

Applicants for the course must complete an application form and a pre interview task and send it to us. We will then set up an interview. We will ask you to telephone us at a pre-arranged time.

To secure a place once you have been accepted you should ensure that the full fee is paid at least six weeks before the course begins. Applicants applying less than six weeks before the course are required to pay the fees on acceptance. We will accept late applications if there are still places on the course.

Please note that wherever possible, correspondence with prospective course candidates is carried out by email.

Transfer from another IH centre

Please note: We will accept the application form and pre-interview task you may already have completed for a CELTA course at another International House centre. A second interview will not be necessary, provided that another IH centre has accepted you.

Course fees: 1.595 Euro
Price includes Cambridge registration fee.

How to pay for the course

You should not pay anything until you have submitted your application and been interviewed. Please note that you will be liable for any bank charges, even if you have already paid bank charges in your own country.

Accomodation

If necessary we arrange accommodation for you during CELTA. For most trainees this is usually a rented room in shared flat (self-catering). You will have your own room and access to the facilities i.e. bathroom, kitchen etc.

Cancellation

In the case of cancellation six weeks or more before the course starting date, 20% of our total fee will be retained. With less than six weeks' notice, 50% of our total fee will be retained. If cancellation occurs in the final ten days before the starting date our total fee will be retained. In the event of a course being cancelled all fees will be refunded.
